My name is Jean-Marie and I started Daisycakes Soap LLC in 1999 in New Orleans & Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2008 we moved to Athens, GA, moving beyond our kitchen table into our own wonderful workshop/office space!Daisycakes Soap LLC is home to cold process soaps, glycerin bars, solid perfumes, lip balms & bath bombs! Every bar is made in a smoke-free work place. Every batch is pH tested before sale. Fresh olive, coconut, palm, caster, soy, & jojoba oils are the oils we work with to make our velvety soap bases. We also love to include shea butter and cocoa butter for their moisturizing qualities. Many soap varieties are vegan-friendly, as are many of our lip balms. No animal fats or synthetic preservatives are *ever* used in our cold process bars! Only pure, natural colorants & essentials oil go into the soaps into our soaps labeled "natural". We did more extensive market research for a glycerin base, and were thrilled to find one we love! It is a very mild, vegetable oil-based, detergent-free soap that holds onto scent beautifully! Product Care: Please keep in mind that products made without synthetic preservatives have a shorter shelf life. It’s always a good idea to keep products from our shop in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. No synthetic preservatives are ever used in anything we make, so our natural products need a little extra TLC! Soap Care: Our cold process soaps are not at risk of melting in transit. They are best used within the first year of purchase. When in use, we recommend using a soap dish that allows air to fully circulate around every surface of the bar for complete drying.
